Amara - Yellow Earrings

These whimsical earrings are another result of my clearing through inventory. I purchased the yellow gemstones back in 2005 and could not think of what to make with them. Last month, I came across the yellow drops and finally paired them with yellow Swarovski crystals and small black beads.

Laura - Bronze Set

August's bead show turned out to be a great boost for my inventory. I found these bronze/brown twist beads in a bin and could not put them down. The set came to life when I added the bronze pearls and Swarovski crystals. I am very tempted to keep this necklace, bracelet and earring set for myself.

Joyce - Reversible Onyx and Silver Necklace

The heart pendant in this piece is yet another pendant that I didn't know what to make with 3 years ago. It shows a black heart on one side and a silver filigree heart on the other. I used onyx stones and silver accents to allow the heart to have center stage.

Amanda - Green Glass Set

I purchased this green pendant 3 years ago and could not get inspired by any beads to pair with it. Ironically, the green accent glass beads that I wound up using were purchased around the same time and sat in an unopened box for the same 3 year span. It all came together when I "rediscovered" them in my parents' house. Once I added the Swarovski crystals and silver accent beads, voila! We now have a necklace, earring and bracelet set.

I am feeling very inspired this week, so keep your eye out for quite a few new posts. The first burst of creativity resulted in this blue set, made with blue foil glass beads, Swarovski crystals, silver spacers and a small glass pendant with a blue flower. Here is a necklace that I made this spring. I'm not exactly sure what the stone pendant is but I love the red, yellow and green of it. Coupled with the red coral, this necklace is simple, elegant and makes a statement.

Black and White Glass - My First Piece

This is the set that started it all; the very first necklace and earrings set that I made. Back in 2005 I took a beading class at Michaels craft store, found the black and white pendant, and the rest is history! I still get compliments on this set whenever I wear it.
